Chapter Twenty-Four
Damian crushed Sofia under him, his heavy muscular legs pinning her to the bed. They had already discarded their clothes in haste, wanting nothing else except each other. "You're so beautiful, my Sofia, " said Davion, releasing a staggering breath. He claimed her lips in a lingering and gentle kiss. It wasn't rough and wild like the other times but passionate and full of raw emotion. It seemed as if he wanted to show her just how much he cherished her. Or was it love she felt in that sweet and caring kiss?
He gently licked her bottom lip and she surrendered herself to him completely, opening her mouth as she moaned his name out. His hands found their way to her lower back, pulling her more into him till she was crushed against his hard abs and chest. Sofia wound her arms around his neck and buried her hands into his soft hair. She could feel his hardness against him and ground her body against it, making him groan with need.
"F*ck, Sofia, what are you doing to me?" He hissed, losing his control. His fingers touched her wet folds and groaned with need. Positioning himself over her, he thrust in deeply into her.
Sofia gasped and clutched onto his shoulders, as he pumped in and out of her. They made love again and again, not getting enough of each other. This time their lovemaking was more passionate, wanton and exploratory and both tried to please the other to the maximum. Sofia was a quick learner and she quickly picked up the art of pleasing Davion Torres.
Afterwards they lay against each other to catch their breath. "Davion, I'm still waiting to know where you saw my photo and when," reminded Sofia. Davion groaned.
"You don't forget easily, right?" He chuckled. Sofia shook her head.
"No, so tell me. You got your share of the deal," she poked him in the chest. Davion smiled and pulled her closer into his arms. He then picked up his mobile and scrolled through the messages that he received from Liam. He stopped at the picture that Liam had sent. The picture of Lisa and Sofia, right before the wedding. He showed Sofia the picture.
"Liam sent me this picture of you," said Davion and Sofia stared at the picture they had candidly clicked that day while preparing for Lisa's wedding at her house.
"Yuck, I wasn't at all ready for this picture. Liam suddenly clicked our pic without our permission, " complained Sofia. Davion chuckled.
"But it's beautiful, don't you think? It made me want to see you, to meet you, to talk to you, to get to know you," said Davion, crushing her to his body and looking down at her with an intensity that knocked the senses off.
"So you knew who I was when we met at Liam's house?" Asked Sofia with wide eyes.
"I knew you were Mr Blakesley's daughter but I didn't know your name, " said Davion.
"Why did you choose me, Davion, when we didn't start off well?" She asked curiously. It was something she had been dying to ask since the day she married him.
"Who said we didn't start off well? You sparked an interest in my heart which fueled me to get to like one you better. This was something new for me as I don't usually believe in relationships and don't get involved with women. Don't get me wrong. I'm totally straight," he said with a wink. "It's just that I don't trust women but there's something about you that attracted my interest in you and I had to marry you," said Davion, caressing her cheek, making her tremble with need.
"Isn't it contradictory? You don't believe in relationships yet you married me," said a confused Sofia. Davion grinned at her.
"Yes, it is but I don't know why I wanted to make you mine forever. I wanted to be in a relationship with you," admitted Davion.
"I'm glad that you did, Davion. I wanted to belong to you, forever," said Sofia, closing her eyes out of exhaustion, a small smile playing on her lips. Davion watched her, mesmerized by her beauty. She was so beautiful, both inside as well as outside. He had no idea what good he might have done that he had someone like Sofia in his otherwise dismal life. She seemed like an angel sent from heaven.
"I love you, Davion," she whispered in her sleep, her breathing even, which meant she was fast asleep. Davion gazed at her, too stunned by her admission.
"I love you too, my Sofia, " he said, pecking her lips with tenderness. His heart did a happy somersault as it swelled with love for Sofia. He had never felt such an intense emotion, such an acute need to be with someone. A happy smile broke out on his face and he slept at last with his loving Sofia in his arms.
The next morning, Sofia stretched and opened her eyes with a smile on her face. Last night she had a wonderful dream where she and Davion confessed their love for one another. If only it would be real! She glanced at her side where Davion had slept. He wasn't there! She quickly climbed out of bed and freshened up and rushed downstairs to check what Davion was upto. She didn't find him anywhere in the penthouse. Where could he have gone?
Opening the door to the gym, her eyes popped out seeing Davion working out rigorously, beads of perspiration dripping from his body and face. He looked up at her and grinned. "C'mon, join me," he urged. Sofia shook her head vigorously after giving one look at the weights that he was using. They were as heavy as her!
"No, thank you. You need it more to be able to lift me up," she winked. Davion's eyes glittered as he kept the weights down and stood up straight. He pinned her with his piercing blue eyes and approached her like a predator.
"Really? Let's have a practice of it then," he said, approaching her with determination and the signature smirk back on his face. Sofia shrieked and ran out of the gym room with Davion chasing her closely.
"Okay, I take back my words," said Sofia, breathless already and stopping to catch her breath. Davion reached her and picked her up in his arms effortlessly.
"Okay, I'm impressed. Now let me go. My stomach's growling for food," said Sofia with a laugh. Davion chuckled.
"Not so easily. First tell me, Davion, you're the most handsome man on earth. I love you, baby," he said with a smirk.
"No never," shrieked Sofia with a laugh, wriggling to get free.
"Then I'll tickle you, say it," threatened Davion with a chuckle.
"This is man-handling, let me go... stop, haha," said Sofia, breaking into fits of laughter as Davion placed her down but tickled her like a maniac.
"Say it, then," said Davion, tickling her, making her lose control of her limbs as she laughed and tried to break free.
"No," said Sofia, trying to push him away. Davion's eyes glittered with excitement as his arm clamped her against him while he tickled her a little. He had no idea that she was so ticklish and he was loving it.
"Okay, stop. I'm saying it, " said Sofia, breathlessly. Davion stopped and waited while Sofia tried to catch her breath.
"Say it or I'll continue," threatened Davion with a twinkle in his eye.
"You're the most handsome man on earth. I love you, insufferable D," said Sofia with an eye roll. Davion laughed.
"Baby," he clucked his tongue, correcting her, his eyes dancing with amusement.
"Baby, " she gritted out with defiance.
Davion's fingers trailed to her throat threatening to tickle her more. Sofia's eyes widened with dread. "No.. please," she laughed before he even started tickling her.
"I love you, baby. I love you, I love you," she said breathlessly, her cheeks coloring profusely and she hid her face into his chest. Davion's heart skipped a beat and he felt a tug at his heartstrings. What was about this adorable creature that melted him to the core? After listening to her confess her feelings for him in her sleep, he had been unable to concentrate on anything since the moment he woke up. The desire to hear it again was utmost in his mind. Now that he heard it, he wanted to hear it again and again. No one had ever said these words to him all his life. He and his dad shared a strong bond but they never spoke about it.
It was Sofia who taught him the importance of love and the need for it in his life. He couldn't imagine how he had lived for twenty-two years without love! "Get ready, baby. We're going out to enjoy what LA has to offer. I'm completely free for the next few days. We'll enjoy our honeymoon to the fullest," said Davion, looking down at her with a smile that reached his eyes, making him look like the happiest man on earth.
