Epilogue

Her father escorted Juliette to the entrance to the chapel. Juliette took deep breaths to calm her rapidly beating heart. There was excitement and happiness in the air as she waited with the others for the bridal procession to start. The officiant and Xavion waited inside with Damian, his best man. The groomsmen, Jaden and Jayson waited with the bridal party outside. Jaden looked much happier and relaxed as Xavion had mentioned earlier. Maybe he really had solves his love problems after all.

"Nervous?" Asked Jade, looking at Juliette with a suppressed longing.

"A little," answered Juliette, with a nervous smile on her face.  It all seemed so ethereal just like a dream. Angela held her hand to give her comfort while she held baby Daniel with the other.

"Every bride feels a little jittery on her wedding day. It's normal, " said Angela with a smile. Baby Daniel gurgled in agreement and Jade just kissed him.

As the music started, Angela walked in with baby Daniel. Then Jade with Jaden and Karen with Jayson followed Angela.

Finally, her dad looked at her "Ready?" He asked with a happy smile on his face that reflected in his eyes.

She nodded and he led her down the aisle towards her Xavion. She could feel his hot gaze upon her all the way to the altar. Her father gave her away to an anxious Xavion, waiting at the altar for her. They couldn't keep their eyes off each other. Holding hands they stood at the altar waiting to be finally united.

The wedding ceremony started and they solemnly said their vows. Everyone was touched and sat teary-eyed as an emotional Juliette and Xavion became one in the eyes of God. Xavion kissed his wife and it was a very precious moment for them as they were now married and united forever.

They held hands and left the chapel to get their photographs taken, laughing and joking with their friends and siblings.

"Xavion didn't wish to stop the kiss. We thought it would be the longest kiss in the history of weddings," said a cheeky Angela. Baby Daniel gurgled in agreement.

"Damian was worse. You had to pinch him to leave you," said Xavion and Angela glared at him. Everyone else chuckled at their antics.

Afterward, they all left to go to their reception party at the mansion. Juliette freshened up in her room while Angela breastfed baby Daniel. Then they went to join the others at the reception party. The cocktail hour and appetizers were in full swing and Juliette and Xavion held hands and enjoyed with everyone. Hailey arrived with Felix and congratulated them. They both looked happy together.

"How have you been?" Asked Juliette.

"On top of the world, thanks to you," she confessed excitedly. They caught up a little till Xavion whisked her away for the first dance.

The first dance was also special for the newlyweds as they stood in each other's arms for the first time as a married couple and danced slowly to the soft romantic music.

"Are you happy wifey?" Asked Xavion, touching her forehead with his.

"Yes, very happy. And you?" She asked him.

"No, not yet. I'll be happiest when I can whisk you away from here for our wedding night," he whispered and she blushed.

"Please not now. Let the party get over," she said. Nothing was impossible for Xavion.

"I will pick you up and leave whenever I want to," he said, his eyes sparkling. She didn't argue further. She just held him and danced. Xavion calmed down at her tender embrace and just slow danced with his wife.

Jaden couldn't stay back and watch everyone enjoying themselves with their loved ones anymore. He walked outside to breathe in the fresh air. Last night after that pep talk with Xavion, he was on a mission. Jayson gave him the mobile number of a trustworthy PI and he had wasted no time at all. He had called Robert Harrison, the Private investigator last night and asked him the whereabouts of Rosalie Edwards. He also sent him an old photograph of Rosalie that he had saved in his wallet and mobile phone. He was waiting eagerly for Robert to contact him with the information he wanted.

Staring at the evening sky, he yearned to be able to see Rosalie, to hold her in his arms, to be able to tell her how much he loved her. He had been contemplating upon how to have his first kiss with her when she suddenly left, shattering all his hopes and dreams, forever. He had become crazy, asking all their friends and neighbors for her and her family's whereabouts, but in vain. No one knew where they went. It seemed that she had suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.  He didn't know the reason behind their sudden disappearance.

He sighed and thought about getting a drink to drown his sorrow when his phone buzzed with an SMS.

Checking, he found a message from his PI.

The Edwards family has been traced to Houston. They have been living in 23B Baker park, Houston for the last six years. Mr. Edwards works as a financial advisor to McAllister and Sons, a finance company based in Houston.

Jaden read and reread the message. There was no information about Rosalie. He wanted to know whether she was seeing anyone or not. He just wanted to know whether she was still available or not. He wanted to know more about her not her dad.

He wrote back,

Thanks for the prompt reply Mr. Harrison. Please can you find out about their daughter Rosalie Edwards? I want to know about her love life.

Mr. Harrison answered,

Sure, sir.

Jaden waited the whole evening as the party progressed and the dinner was served. The best man and maid of honor speeches were over. His dad thanked every guest for honoring the occasion with their presence.

Finally, the cake was cut and Xavion whisked Juliette away to his house in Austin. He carried her bridal style and walked inside his home.

"Welcome home, darling," Xavion said as he went inside his home with his newly married bride. "Let's start a life full of love and understanding where there will be no place for any misunderstandings. Promise?"

"Yes baby, I promise," she said as she placed her head on his shoulder as he carried her to their bedroom for their wedding night.

At Juliette's dad's house, everyone else stayed back to enjoy the party but Jaden was done. He returned back to his room and stared at his mobile, waiting for the information upon which his life depended.

It was around midnight when his mobile phone vibrated. Checking it he sighed with relief at the message.

Rosalie Edwards is not seeing anyone at the moment. She doesn't have any boyfriend. She's a grade-A student, studying Agricultural Practices and Research at the University of Austin.

Jaden grinned happily. He would complete his studies and make himself eligible for her and then pursue her. In the meantime, he would just keep track of her. Was he making the right decision? He wasn't sure but he couldn't pursue her without being eligible enough to marry her.

His mission to get Rosalie Edwards had already started. He felt more at peace than he had ever been in his whole life. He would get updates about her whereabouts and get pictures of her in the meantime to plan his future with her.

"Just wait and watch Rosie, I'm coming to get you," he whispered with a smile on his face. Thinking about their future together, he dozed off to sleep.
