Chapter Nine
The next day Valentina came to see her. She had just returned from a family vacation with her husband and adopted son. They caught up with each other's lives and chatted a lot. The next day they were all invited to Chase's friend Bronson Summers' house for his fiancée's bridal shower party. It was the first event that she would be attending with a family. She was excited. Valentina promised to send her a dress from the boutique that she worked at. It was Bronson Summers' cousin Brittany's boutique.
As promised, Valentina sent her a beautiful peach coloured dress with sheer fabric outlay and embellished with sequins. Chase stared at her ever since he lay his eyes on her. To him she was the most gorgeous creature on earth. They reached the Summers house on time. Bronson's fiancée Sienna was a beautiful girl and Scarlett bonded well with her. They sat chatting in one corner with Austen in her arms. Chase came over and took Austen from her, his hot gaze, not leaving Scarlett's face as he took the baby. Scarlett lowered her curled lashes, blushing as his hands brushed against hers.
After fifteen minutes, Austen started crying, he was hungry and needed to be breastfed, so Chase brought him to Scarlett. "Take him to my bedroom and feed him dear," said aunt Olivia, who was Bronson's aunt.
Scarlett got up to go but Chase didn't give Austen to her. He led her upstairs to aunt Olivia's bedroom and closed the door.
"Sit down on the bed," he said, pumping the pillows to make her comfortable. She was acutely aware of his penetrating gaze on her. He placed baby Austen in her arms, his rough hands brushing hers, causing goosebumps to erupt all over her.
I can manage, " she said shyly. How could she breastfeed in front of him? At his house, she always disappeared into her room and locked the door but here he just came along. Her cheeks were bright red already.
Chase didn't want to leave. He was very jealous of that little baby. He also wanted to taste her. He had been going crazy everyday seeing her around the house, all creamy and gorgeous, ready to be made love to. He was permanently horny with her around. He came home to lunch whenever he could just to catch a glimpse of her.
"Mr. McGuire, I can manage, " she said but he clenched his jaw angrily.
"I'm Chase for you, not Mr. McGuire. You call me that again and I won't be responsible for the consequences, " he said going out.
She put baby Austen to her breast and he immediately started sucking. Poor baby, he was so hungry. She cooed to him and stroked his baby soft skin, lovingly.
Chase stared at her through the gap in the door. He didn't go downstairs to join in the fun. His whole body was craving for Scarlett, he wanted to see how she looked feeding the baby. Her soft rounded voluptuous creamy breasts with pink hard nipples looked gorgeous. Oh how he wished he could suck them. His hard bulge throbbed achingly through his denims. He felt an uncontrollable urge to just hold her in his arms. When the baby fell asleep, and she was laying him down on the bed, he opened the door and went inside, locking it behind him.
Scarlett put Austen down on the bed and turned to get up and fix her bra and dress. She was dumbfounded when she saw Chase in front of her. His eyes were dark with desire, his breathing erratic as he stared at her exposed breasts. Gasping at her carelessness, she tried to fix her bra but his hand caught her wrist and he pulled her up into his arms.
"You're exquisitely beautiful, Scarlett," he whispered, as his arm went around her waist, clamping her to himself.
"Mr. McGuire, you shouldn't be here," she said, shyly, her hands trying to fix her bra but he wouldn't let her.
"Chase," he prompted.
"You're driving me crazy Scarlett. Do you have any idea how much I want you? Please don't torture me, let me kiss you?" He whispered, his mouth inches from hers. His fingers softly caressed her exposed breasts, touching her nipples with his thumb rubbing them erotically.
She moaned his name," Mm, Oh, Chase," He lost all his control and crashed his lips to hers.
It was the most passionate kiss of her life, as his tongue plunged into her mouth, deepening the kiss. His fingers explored her breasts gently, while his mouth sucked all parts of her mouth, his tongue tasted every recess. She held his head and kissed him back with equal fervour.
When he broke the kiss, they both rested their foreheads against each other, trying to control their erratic breathing. Chase dropped his mouth to her breasts and sucked. He tasted the milk and she moaned his name.
"Tell me now that you don't want me, Scarlett," he said as he buttoned up her dress.
"I I think you should go down, Chase," she said, staring at him the same way that he was gazing at her.
"Again, " he said, looking at her confused face,"Say my name again, " he pleaded. He had been dying to hear her say it and now that she called him, he wanted to hear her call him again and again. It felt like music to his ears.
"Chase," she said as his thumb brushed her already swollen lips.
"Again," he ordered.
"Please, Chase, someone will come up," she said. They had been here for so long that someone might get suspicious and come up to enquire.
"Alright. I'm going down to get you food. Austen's asleep, you can't leave him alone here. He'll be scared when he wakes up," he said, going out and closing the door behind him.
As he was about to go upstairs, when Brittany came forward and took the plate from his hands. "Is this for Scarlett? I'll take it up to her, you go ahead and eat, " she said as Chase nodded and went to the buffet table reluctantly.
Brittany went up to aunt Olivia's bedroom and smiled at the beautiful young woman. No wonder Chase was so whipped with her. "I'm Bronson's cousin Brittany, the owner of the boutique where Valentina works," she introduced herself, placing the food on the table nearby.
"I'm Scarlett Lewis, Valentina's best friend," she said. "Thanks for the dress, it's gorgeous. "
"Thanks. You're looking very beautiful in it. Valentina told me about you. I've seen the chemistry between Chase and you. Is there anything between you two?" She couldn't help asking Scarlett.
"Oh no no," she lied.
"Chase, my husband Lucas and my cousins are all childhood friends. I've known him for a long time. Believe me he's a very good and hardworking officer. This is the first time I've seen him so interested in a girl. He's whipped with you dear, please take him seriously. He isn't like this at all. I'm sure he has fallen for you," said Brittany while Scarlett blushed at her words. She nodded, not finding any appropriate words to say.
Brittany smiled and left and she started thinking about what she just told her.
